So with that part you have shown, what is on the sticker is probably the ATE part number. Realoem shows the BMW part number. It is very common from car manufacturers to have different numbers for a part than the manufacturer of the part.

For instance, with certain bosch part numbers. You can often look up just the bosch part number and get the parts much cheaper than if you buy the BMW specific part. However, some things, like wiring for instance, might be different if you don't buy the BMW specific part. Bosch O2 sensor for instance.

Although, the BMW part numbers for an ABS/ASC controller are very similar to that... Not sure why they would be different. Did you enter the correct year, body style, and geographic area for the car?


Also, try putting the part number into google and see what you find. I found this-

"Genuine BMW - #34521164137 - CONTROL UNIT ES#220152
Part has been superceeded by ES#63039"
