The location of the can is a really good spot. Its slightly lower than the valve cover so the crud coming out has a steady downward path into the can. This keeps the crap from backflowing into the valve cover again. Also, the cool air passing over the can helps condense the oil faster so it stays in the can. Its well hidden for a stealthy clean install.
