im not too concerned about the stress issue as it stands right now...

the whole exhaust barely even budges... and its held up pretty tight with the muffler hangars, it even renders the middle hangar located in the middle of my catback useless because its drawn up so tightly...
so personally, i don't see how it is any less effective than if there were another hangar right after the cats/resinators.
This was done by an exhaust shop too, and he didn't seem to feel there was an immediate need for any extra support at this point in time. We talked about it and decided to save the piece JUST in case.

note : i am not using the stock hangars, he had these at his shop off of something he worked on before, and they are NOTHING like the stock rubber donuts, MUCH MUCH stiffer.
