Those are great engines. I have one on a stand with M3 cams, headers, pulleys and a Stewart pump ready to go into a ti. I also just rescued an aluminum block 2.8 from being used as a boat mooring. It was sitting in the dirt with the head off for a long time. It's locked up so I am not sure I'll be able to save it. The sleeves can be bored .25mm which may or may not be enough. Resleeving the block is not really cost effective so if all else fails, it will be a wine rack.
