I thought so too, but then:
http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=1024740

Looks like for the purpose of winter tires some e46 guys with a 2004 325i tried 15" wheels and needed spacers for the front but rear didn't have a problem.

According to RealOEM PN: 34216864056
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/part...&q=34216864056

That means we got : 294X19 Vented rear rotors that may fit under 15"

Also that means that PN:/ 34116864058

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/part...&q=34116864058

300X22 Vented front rotors worked with 20mm spacers.

Thoughts?

EDIT: Just checked and looks like he got the e36 m3 rear adapter too:

Pretty sweet!
