Poor College Kid + modding a BMW is a hard Road to travel.
ODB II, I'd go with a M52B28(328,Z3 2.8), it's way cheaper than a S50B32, and modded right you can make some good power out of it, also if you can find a Z3 alloy block, you really won't gain much weight from the engine.
Still you will have to swap brakes, and suspension and diff(either at the time of swap or when it gives out, and go with a 188mm cased LSD)
Btw, 1996 Model year is Sport, not a Club Sport. |
