Just an update of my project. Lots of new parts in a box ready to be installed and put this beast back together.

I found coolant leaking at the plastic connector on the firewall going to the heater core. I am attempting to bypass the t-body cooler and replace the plastic connector at the firewall with new o-rings and pressure test it. Hope to save $100 and not have to replace the heater core too.
