So here's the verdict:
199 tanks of gas pre-Dinan software = 29.17 mpg average
30 tanks of gas with Dinan software = 29.83 mpg average
Obviously the sample size without the software is much bigger. Looking at the numbers there is a pattern of lower mpg for the few tanks immediately following the install. I'll attribute that to the "new toy" effect as it started to creep back up after a while. I'll have to keep an eye on it going forward, but for me at least it looks like it's a very slight increase but nothing to get excited about. Your mileage may vary, literally. |
