Try looking at jaxed.com & click on the mash. This will give you a cluster of 3 series but there are usually some 5spd 318ti's in there. You could always move to a country where people actually know how to drive & hence more manual gearbox options abound !!

I had the same prob when I moved to the states 4 yrs ago, very frustrating. Over sea's we had the 318ti until 2004 & almost all of them were 5spd box's ! Best of luck m8 !!
