OK lets see if we can ID this part - see attached picture (your looking forward). Its a bracket attached to the transmission (M42 engine) forward of the cast transmission cross member. I can't find anything on realOEM but I may not be looking in the right place. You can see it has one rubber isolator mount on it (and a place for a second). What is this for?? Underbody panel maybe? But in that case it would seem you would want to mount to the cast cross member not the transmission which would vibrate etc.
