I am picking up a 1998 318ti this week and I know it to be equipped with smooth, non-vented front rotors. I also know that in 4/98 the 318ti came equipped with vented rotors. Mine was manufactured 3/98 so I just missed out. I intend to upgrade the fronts to vented Zimmermann or Brembo rotors but need to know which calipers I will need to replace the current ones with. I see from this forum that some of you have experience along these lines. My question; will I need different caliper mounts to accomodate the larger calipers?
I'm assuming that any 1999 318 or 325/328 systems will bolt right up. Can you help with the answer and where I can find the parts?
