Do you mean stock engine? If so, I am not too worried about losing a little acceleration and gaining some extra rotating mass for the much better brakes. I can lose weight and gain power in other areas. My engine isn't stock, and my suspension is very far from stock.

I would still say it is worth it. Especially if you have the solid front rotors, like I did.
