The NCC Autocross program uses a BMW-centric customized classing structure which pits your BMW or MINI against similar performance models in 3 levels of trim: Showroom, Tuner, and Modified. There is also a simple classing structure for non-BMW competitors. You can check out the full details at nccautocross.com.

Our program is beginner friendly, offering in-car instruction, guided course walks, and a dedicated group of organizers who are happy to answer any questions you might have or show you the ropes. Also, there are free loaner helmets available for use, so if you don't have your own helmet there is no need to go out and buy or rent one just to get a few fun runs in!

So whether you're a longtime BMW CCA veteran or never been to an autocross before, come check it all out online at our website: www.nccautocross.com

Please contact us with any questions you might have. We'll be happy to answer your questions. Please use our message board at nccautocross.com to post any questions you may have.

This may sound like a dumb question but are there any kind of special modifications one needs to participate? I.E. Roll cage? Special tires? What is autocross like? It it a cone track or like a real track with walls? I'm really new lol and I was just thinking about raceing this afternoon so this is perfect timing

No modifications necessary, they have loner helmets you can borrow at the event and you can request an instructor to ride with you, or ride along with an instructor.

Autocross is typically held on a large parking lot and cones are used to make the track. There is usually plenty of runoff room if you go off course and speeds are kept fairly low, I didn't get out of 2nd gear.

Here's a video from the last event. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wVHK...ature=youtu.be

Well said Dave. Come on out. We welcome newcomers and we have loaner helmets and instructors if you need.
