Default Alpinas on a ti...

What do you guys think about this idea:

A friend of mine has a '92 325i that he's selling, with authentic Alpina wheels (either the original or softline, I'm not sure). They're 17's I think, not sure about the width. What are your thoughts on me buying them and slapping them on my ti? (it will be lowered by then with bilstein sports and either H&R or Bavauto springs)

Awesomeness, I was kinda on the fence and I needed some input.

Anyone know how much they might weigh? I couldn't find anything online, but in general...are Alpina rims known for being particularly heavy or light?
