I have a problem with my clock too......PLEASE HELP
my clock is usually very dim and hard to read . It goes brite once in while. Also when radio is on and you turn on rear window deforst the radio loses alot of power.
Go to the bone yard and get another clock. The pixels can be repaied, but a used replacement is cheaper I think.
Pop the radio and the clock is accessable from the radio opening. Easy swap.
As to the last one, it sounds like the power supplying the radio is not sufficient (in the case of an up-rated system) or corroded if the radio is still stock. Check the fuses for corrosion first, then all wiring connections. I like to use Silicone grease on the fuse connections of my Land Rover to prevent corosion. Since the BMW never sees salt, I fortunately have no corrosion issues with body or electrics.
