Default Hey folks new to the site

In a pickle and trying to decide what to do with my totalled 99 S52 MCoupe. I will be buying it back from insurance and am thinking about transfering all I have done on the car to a 318ti while I look for a suitable S54 replacement. Just how much can I transfer?

This motor will work. There are a few items that will need changed/added. There is a swap manual for sale here on the org. The man who wrote it is J!M. Search his name as I have spelled it here and you'll find him and his manual.
He put the same motor in his car. So, all of the info will be in it.

I just sent him an email to get a copy. Do you know if it makes a difference if I pick up an automatic or manual car to transfer the guts of my MCoupe into?

Swap out the rear subframe also and sell the ti subframe to an E30 guy looking to do a 5 bolt conversion.

It doesn't matter if it's a manual or auto. There are differences tho. As you can imagine...a bit more work comes with the auto. But, it should be covered in J!M's manual.
Post pics of the M Coupe. I'd sure like to see it.
