Default Wheel fitment ?

So my wheels are 17x8. I don't know if I should get 205/40/17 or 215/40/17 . Which one would make a nicer fitment ??

The offset will be shown with a code on the wheel, starting with ET followed by a 2 digit number, which should be between 45 and 35. I have 215/45-17, which keeps the speedometer reading reasonably accurate...when it says 70, i am actually going 67-68. Do you have wheels with the correct size bolt pattern? Different car brands have different sizes. For example, vw/audi wheels will not fit a bmw. The tirerack.com website has lots of information about wheel and tire fitment.

Yeah. There on the car my new wheels. But the guy that had them had winter tires on them and I want to change them because winter isn't here anymore lol
