windshield wiper relay

I have been having an odd problem with my windshield wipers cutting out whenever they felt like it. After extensive digging i managed to locate the control module on my e36 behind the glove box and swapped it out for another which unfortunately did not solve my problem of the wipers cutting out roughly about 30sec later.

so my new question is this, can anyone tell me what each relay is for in the fuse box and if one of them might be associated with the wiper system in any way.
