So... I'm from canada, etc. And we gotta have DRL's. any other e36, it's apparently easy to change it out, to be like you americans, but.... not the ti, it seems... unless i'm retarded. which is a good possibility. help? | | | 06-14-2008, 03:02 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Quad Cities, Iowa Posts: 2,110 | If the title hadn't been clear there would be no way for me to understand what you were asking, might wanna reword that to make sense. __________________ "Drive Fast and Take Chances" | | | 06-14-2008, 03:11 AM | #3 | Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: Calgary Posts: 70 | woah... is that ever bad. haha. okay, lets try again. Canadian cars have the Day Time Running Light module, in place of the americans High Beam Relay. But it seems like my car doesn't have this Module, or it's not in the same place as normal e36s. The bently is telling me it's under the hood, my friends (with a 328i, and an m3 sedan) say theirs is under the steering column/dash area, by the speaker. it's not in either place on my car. if anyone's done the daytime running light delete (makes angel eyes look better) let me know how ya did it! | | | 06-14-2008, 03:16 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: maritimes Posts: 1,433 | Quote: Originally Posted by GardenBeast So... (my drls are my high beams on 40% power) | | | 06-14-2008, 04:18 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Central NJ Posts: 2,440 | oh for some reason... i was thinking in american terms haha... oops. | | | 06-14-2008, 05:42 AM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: LA, Bellflower, CA Posts: 3,613 | can't you just open up the depos and take out the bulb? therefore resulting in a DRLs... sounds like it'd be the easiest way to me... __________________ -Theta Chi- Float like a cadilac, sting like a BIMMER .... my socket is just too thick and won't fit in the hole! damnit!
