Default TEIN with EDFC

Has anyone driven a car equiped with the TEIN EDFC (Electronic Damping Force Controller) Installed? On their site it says that they are coming out with the Super Street Damper for non-m3 E36's that is EDFC compatible. I've always been interested in TEIN and their EDFC, but I don't know anyone that has driven a car with it.

What's this thing do?

If you're gonna upgrade your shocks, just buy full-on Penskes.

EDIT: Too early for spelling.

Its a system that you can install on certain TEIN coilover systems. It has step motors installed on the top of the shocks to adjust the damping force via a controll unit installed inside the car. It allows you to control the front and rear suspension independently from each other. http://www.tein.com/edfc.html
It looks like a pretty neat system.

I've heard of this before, it sounds really cool. There are literally servos that mount on top of your shock towers and adjust the suspension... it's automated. I think the reason it's not avalable for all models just has to do with the clearance from the strut tower to the hood.

I've never been in a car with it, BTW... it just sounds awesome to me.

Bimmerworld has them on their website for BMWs now. Pretty neat stuff.

It would be nice to hear from someone that has driven with this setup before to see what they think.
