Those are pretty much the cheapest halo projectors you can get, might be a bitch to install, might not work, very cheap considering some people spend thousands on their headlight setups. Also, the 318Ti has the same front end as the 4 door e36 model so you CANNOT use the 2dr headlights, make sure the title says e36 4dr or 318ti. Welcome PS- my suggestion, look for some nicer looking, more expensive projector halos, there are some good german made ones on ebay. PPS- There's no way that headlights like that will make your car look like a ricer, especially if find some of better quality. | | | 02-01-2007, 11:43 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: G-dale, California Posts: 1,698 | aight thanks guys i didnt want these lights to clean things up i was just wondering if lights like these would work and anyone have any ideas on good projection headlights for under $200 ??? __________________ Live Everyday As If Its Your Last A friend is someone who is willing to step into a flame to save you........aka a 318ti | | | 02-02-2007, 01:37 AM | #6 | Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: SF Bay Area Posts: 21 | kind of correct M3_kill3r, you should do whatever you like... If you like the looks of the lights, who cares what anyone else says? Anyway, as far as the $200 range for projectors, you might want to try either depo or dj auto lights... Both are a projector with glass lenses, though I do not have any experiences with either brand. If you want a quality product, I would suggest either Zkw or Bosch -- but you are talking about double the price. Just to clarify more on the light fitment... Stock, the 318ti has two headlights and two corner lights (which also double as front turn signals) on the car. The headlights are generic, meaning any e36 model headlights will fit. The only e36 model specific difference here is the shape of the two corner lights -- there are specific ones for the 2-door and the 4-door. And, like DustenT & buddhajono stated, the 318ti has the 4-door front end. I'm sure they meant that these specific lights wouldn't fit because of the built in corner light/turn signals, but wanted to clarify further to avoid confusion for you. I have not installed them yet, but I have them in the box and they seem like a quality product. All I need now are the HID's from the group buy and I will put them in. | | | 02-06-2007, 06:52 AM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: G-dale, California Posts: 1,698 | ya those are the depos that im thinking of getting but the one i want is with the angel eye kit...but now im worried about installing it b/c i suck with wiring =/ __________________ Live Everyday As If Its Your Last A friend is someone who is willing to step into a flame to save you........aka a 318ti | | | 02-06-2007, 10:36 AM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: ipswich Posts: 656 | __________________ 318TI FOR SALE MESSAGE ME FOR MORE INFORMATION | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
