My guess...

Don't buy them. They are ugly & will make your car look like a rice rocket.

You'll need sedan headlights for a 318ti.

Default nope

Ok since everyone else is ignoring this post because this topic has been covered so many times i guess i'll have to answer you. Those are pretty much the cheapest halo projectors you can get, might be a bitch to install, might not work, very cheap considering some people spend thousands on their headlight setups. Also, the 318Ti has the same front end as the 4 door e36 model so you CANNOT use the 2dr headlights, make sure the title says e36 4dr or 318ti. Welcome

PS- my suggestion, look for some nicer looking, more expensive projector halos, there are some good german made ones on ebay.

PPS- There's no way that headlights like that will make your car look like a ricer, especially if find some of better quality.

Default kind of correct

M3_kill3r, you should do whatever you like... If you like the looks of the lights, who cares what anyone else says?

Anyway, as far as the $200 range for projectors, you might want to try either depo or dj auto lights... Both are a projector with glass lenses, though I do not have any experiences with either brand. If you want a quality product, I would suggest either Zkw or Bosch -- but you are talking about double the price.

Just to clarify more on the light fitment... Stock, the 318ti has two headlights and two corner lights (which also double as front turn signals) on the car. The headlights are generic, meaning any e36 model headlights will fit. The only e36 model specific difference here is the shape of the two corner lights -- there are specific ones for the 2-door and the 4-door. And, like DustenT & buddhajono stated, the 318ti has the 4-door front end. I'm sure they meant that these specific lights wouldn't fit because of the built in corner light/turn signals, but wanted to clarify further to avoid confusion for you.

Have fun modifyng your ride!

also , take into account the compact front end doesn´t have as much room behind the headlights as the coupe/loon does, but saying that an OEM swap of compact to coupe units is very much possible.

i only suggest that you get a selection of good pictures from the vendor to help you with your choice.

as for functionallity and water resistance, i wouldnt like to say they are in the same class as OEM units, but with carefull attention could be just as reliable

Default A quick easy way..but not cheap

If you just wanted Angel Eyes for your Ti you could just go ahead and spend 450$ on www.bavauto.com They will defintley work and be some of the best quality around.

I have the depos. Be prepared for a wiring nightmare - I ended up breaking them down and rewiring them.

These are much better, and combined with a nice set of clear corners, will improve the looks of your car significantly. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA:IT&ih=007 BTW check out the price! Can't go wrong. I even seen a set of clears for about $10 plus shipping. P.S. if you want the CCFL Angel Eye kit, this company also offers it and will more than likely install it and/or combine shipping for you.

I just ordered these and they look good. I have not installed them yet, but I have them in the box and they seem like a quality product. All I need now are the HID's from the group buy and I will put them in.
