Default This is for all with SC's or SC knowledge

So, lately I have been having alot of lag. It was real bad before I replaced my cat, but I got a new cat and then problem has for the most part gone away, except once in a while it will lag and backfire again when I get on the throttle. What could this lag be caused by?? Any idea's on how to get it to run real clean and real fast? I need to do something about it.

Check for vacuum leaks. Check your intake tract for leaks also. Are you running a boost gauge? If so, what does your boost look like. Any check engine lights?

Now that you mention it, my boost is only reading like 5-6 psi

check for a leak somewhere between the pressured side of the sc and the motor. Check the hose you are using for your boost gauge too.
