Default s50/m52 setup

hi guys

just wondering what you compact owners with s50/m52 conversions are using for front and rear suspension and brakes

have bought a 316 compact and first job to be done will be suspension and brakes with engine converiosn further down the line - what ever i do thoughi want to prepare the car for more than likely 2.8 m52 conversion or if it comes at the right money an s50 converiosn

obivously i'll be swapping out the back axle for disks as well

car will be used for some road but mainly track work

I had 323ti sport springs with Koni adjustables later swapped them out for H&R Race Springs.

E36 vented rotors are just fine.

Definately get rid of the drum setup, if you have solid rotors up front, get a set of vented rotors with the correct caliper bracket (carrier). Suspension can be from any 6 cyl equipped e36, ti, or z3. You can go aftermarket with a coilover setup and run a custom spring and sway setup.

Front M3 brakes, with rear brakes from a 2.8L Z3. Suspension I think I'm using Koni height adjustables front and rear.
