Default Frikken fast E36 race car

Somebody please tell me that it isn't the engine making that squealing. also, what kind of car is he chasing w/ 6 mins and 40 secs in the vid? I want to say it's an aston, but I have no idea. it's a crazy video.

"It's a straight cut sequential gearbox making the noise."

It's the gearbox. In the old days when "crash-box" trannies are comon, you only hear the whining and grinding of the gears. When inside the car, you barely hear the exhaust/engine.

The amazing thing is how many cars he passes in the first lap....
The way he hole shots half the field on the start, looks to me like he must have had issues in qualifying and ended up rear grid....Cause he was sure too fast to be where he was!

Car is smoking fast..... Whish sequentials were quieter would be sweet on my commute...

is another wicked shots even though fuzzy... Watch how fast the car leaves the line,, and listen to the shifts in the corners. Wooosh.
