I know a lot of V8 cars that can't do that with lots of mods. 60ft could use some help though. That's just practice and how much traction is available. And every tenth off the 60 is worth 2 tenths at the big end! __________________ No more ti. | | | 09-07-2011, 03:05 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Auburn, WA Posts: 1,814 | yeah, car is not even ment for 1/4 mile, is setup for road racing and drifting, -3 camber and only like 3/4 of the tire touching the track cant be good for traction lol __________________ 5/96 318TI Sport BIG TURBO | | | 09-07-2011, 03:19 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2009 Location: MD/PA/DC Posts: 1,629 | Quote: Originally Posted by Jean H.318TI yeah, car is not even ment for 1/4 mile, is setup for road racing and drifting, -3 camber and only like 3/4 of the tire touching the track cant be good for traction lol | Uh, yeah. Just a little tough for launching! Those times are even more impressive. my 250hp/300ftlb wagon dead hooks and only runs 2.17 60ft... (4500lbs though) I had a 4 cyl mustang...could pull a 2.10 60ft.....and best 1/4 it ever did was a 17.88 LOL! Little foreign 4 cylinders really run nice....I'm impressed with the M42/44. I'm really wishing I was able to send my ECU out to Midnight.... __________________ No more ti. | | | 09-07-2011, 06:39 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: Louisiana Posts: 1,093 | I looked in my glove box and found a 1/4 slip of 17 something when I ran it about 4 years ago in 07 or 08 . . Rear seats? I know you've lightened the car up. That tune supposedly work really nice too. Just the exhaust is prolly good for 50lbs... every 100lbs is worth a tenth of a second. I'd bet true stock vs stock wouldn't be that far off. Also, dunno what dj had in his car either...Weight wise.... Not trying to start a fight or anything...just trying to compare. Too bad I never got the tune for my car. Though a baseline now would be nice to have, maybe I can get the tune later on and run it ... __________________ No more ti. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
