So this is tough but,,,,

If the Cam position sensor is out of wack it will likely cause the O2 sensor codes, the evap code could be related as well.

Sounds like an in-depth diag is warranted and you may need a shop to jack in and do a running diag.

Check for vacume leaks they drive the ECU crazy...

The cam sensor dies or goes weak, the car switches to limp
mode and the emissions go in the crapper, this triggers the O2 codes.

the code reads take you 90% of the way but a good diag
machine that can display the readings while the engine is
running may help. Bottom line youll eihter pay via swapping
out parts or paying labor or worst case both!

When the sensor dies the engine wont run as I recall,,,
there's various threads about this so some searching may
help, also try searching bimmerforums. Theres fair wide
spread tech info there....

Long distance trouble shooting whoooo hooo!

Anyone have any more recent experiences with a P0455 code?

Thanks!

Yeah, I'm getting that on my swapped M3 into Ti. There is a evap canister in the space near the fuel filler that get pressurized when the car is started to verify that the (among others) gas cap is on tight and not leaking. I have an issued with one of the connections in under the canister that requires a replacement tank.

Great, thanks for your insight. Another check for me. Appreciate it.
