Default FS: SuperSprint Racing Resonator

SOLD!!!

I decided to put my cat back in my car so I will be selling the resonator. I bought it new back in March and has about 5k miles now. I'm getting the cat back on sometime later this week and will take pictures of the resonator. It has scratches because I lowered my car and some of the areas I drive through have big speed humps or dips, but there are no holes anywhere on the pipe.

The price on bmp is $331 plus shipping, but I bought it from Bavarian Performance Group for $280 shipped. Link is below with pic.

http://www.bmpdesign.com/product-exe...earch_model/52

I'm selling for $125 plus shipping.

I'm giving you guys first dibs and if there is no interest after a week I will post this up on bimmerforums.

If there are any questions, please ask.
I will have pictures up as soon as I get the cat on.

It removes the catalytic converter. That should give more power. Suggested for a 1995 only.

It replaces the catlytic converter and allows more air to flow. It is much more lighter than the cat and supposed to give you more torque than hp.

Pics will come as soon as I get it off the car. I'm working everyday and don't have much time to get it off. I'll try by Friday.

Whats the reason you are removing it? I may be interested but I know there is a problem with the oxygen sensor on obdII ti's right? How was the noise level on it?

I am removing for 3 reasons:

1. Air has been leaking from where the clamp goes and I tried adjusting it but I think it needs a bigger clamp. In order to put this pipe in you have to cut the pipr from the header to the cat and then slide the pipe into the sueprsprint and a clamp holds them.

2. Whenever I am home and warming up my car and my mom comes out to the garage she smells the fumes and complains.

3. I am saving up for an engine swap so I will eventually get it off.

My car is OBD1 and I have no problem. The OBDII's have the 2nd sensor, so the C.E.L. will probably turn on whent the cat is removed.

I first had this on my supersprint cat back and the sound level was fairly the same. Now I have a Stromung and the sound loud becasue the Stromung is loud anyways. Basically there wont be much of a difference.

Pics will come soon.

You will have to cut the pipe between the header and the cat to take the cat off. It bolts to the cat back and the clamp will hold the other side to the header. It cost me $20 with my mechanic.
