Does anyone know what radiator hose was shipped with the DASC, I would assume it is a hose from different car, I hope at least. I need one to get it installed. | | | 10-31-2009, 06:13 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: Gulfport, Florida Posts: 3,208 | Quote: Originally Posted by blefevre This question was asked a long time ago but got no responses. It's from a Ford truck I think. He purchased one in the US then had me mail it to him with some other parts. I had the part number in PM but deleted it months ago | | | 11-03-2009, 04:35 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: Leeds, England Posts: 133 | Yay, I can be helpful for once! Its off a Ford Aerostar truck (whatever the hell that is, sure dont have them in England!). The Gates part number is 21673. http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/rafr...3&a=UK64-21673 FORD AEROSTAR (1986 - 1995) same as MAZDA B3000 1994 Also, the belt part number is Gates K060863 off a CADILLAC SEVILLE, 1991, 4.9L 300 cid V8 MFI. Its a real pain me getting these bits in the UK, but they should be really cheap in the US __________________ Supercharged 318Ti | | | 11-03-2009, 04:54 PM | #4 | Member Join Date: Jan 2009 Location: Golden, CO Posts: 45 | Thank you! That crosses to a Gates part number 21623. I can't say if the 21673 quoted above is correct but mine fits pretty well. | | | 02-17-2010, 07:19 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: UK Posts: 101 | Quote: Originally Posted by denglish318ti Yay, I can be helpful for once! I need it for the weekend | | | 02-18-2010, 01:30 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | Quote: Originally Posted by m3nut Dylan where in the Uk can I get that rad hose? The part numbers I found were: Goodyear 61417 or crosses to Gates 21623. Not the best, but got me going until I can get one from the states. I ordered the gates 21623 and 21673. The later is the better fit. The 21623 is a bit short and needs to be pulled out of shape to fit, but will be a good spare. Thanks again guy's for the part numbers and links | | | 03-04-2010, 11:32 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2008 Location: San Diego Posts: 179 | Quote: Originally Posted by m3nut Good news received the hose from rock auto's! Thanks again guy's for the part numbers and links | Thanks for confirming which is a better fit. My kit was used and came with the 21623 so I may get the 21673 before I change the coolant again since it fits better. Can you post a photo of what it looks like installed? I am auto crossing next weekend so I may try to swap to this style hose and change coolant before then. The photos are very helpful.
