Default '99 Ti- what's it worth?

I have a line on another Ti - a '99 sport with california roof, 85k miles, manual shift, etc. Clear title, but exposed to salt/winters, not sure about service records but overall good to VG condition. My question is, what's a reasonable offer? I know, not much info to go on for now but I'm looking for gut reaction here from anyone with an educated opinion. I am seriously interested in this car so sorry about being tight lipped. TIA people.

Damn! It all about what it is worth to you!
KBB lists it for 7900 in good condition.
I'd have no problem buying it for 8000-9000 for the right color and records.
I would want either a 95 CS or California Roof.

Yeah, and forum members tend to be the most educated (read picky) members too!
