And thanks to everyone else who tried to help! I fixed the other lights on the dash - the airbag light sits up there alone now, mocking me. The code reader says the problem is the RH seatbelt tensioner, the wires and plugs under the seat all look good, so can anyone sell me a RH tensioner for a '98? The part comes off with the seat, and I think is more or less permanently attached to the seatbelt buckle on the inboard side. I got the light to go out and stay out for a good long while, but now it's back, and can't be reset. I've had the seat out, and all of the plugs and wires are good. I need one of these: I believe that they are the same left and right, and that the one I need is from a '97, '98, or '99 car. Trying to avoid paying my hard-earned $$$ to the dealer... Also, most part out threads don't list these as they are usually triggered by an accident, making them worthless. Done that. Besides, now there's a chance I may pass the car to my kid, so all the safety stuff's got to work - If he's driving his girlfriend somewhere and there's an accident and the airbag doesn't fire, and the warning light's been disabled, the ambulance chasers will be circling like sharks.
