You're in NJ right? I took mine in the Lodi DMV just this July, and trust me it's easy as hell. I didn't take it in my ti, actually in some kind of Toyota. But anyways, don't worry about the parallel parking. I mean I actually hit the curb during the test while parking and still passed.
Oh and the great thing about the ti is the tiny butt... You can practically just drive into the spot, that tiny ass can fit in everywhere.

i drove a jeep grand cherokee for my driving test. nailed the parallel parking section in one shot, and passed just shy of a perfect score.

i think it was laughing my face off at the person failing the parallel parking while driving a suzuki sidekick that made me lose a few points.

don't sweat it. getting nervous will probably do more to get in your way. i'm sure you already know what you're doing and you'll do fine.

I took mine in a Jeep Grand Cherokee also. I screwed up parallel parking because I couldn't see the cones I was supposed to park inbetween very well. =( I nailed backing around a corner and everything else though!

Good luck!!

i took my test in my sisters nissan altima...i hate that car but it was really easy...we never went on a road more than 35 mph and most was in a semi-residential place with speed limits of 25 mph...and paralell parking is not necessary in NC so i never had to do that...

i almost got a perfect score...but i failed to use my turn signal in a parking lot...because i used common sense and realized that at 7am or whatever ungodly hour i was there at, the lot was completely empty

in drivers ed...we always learned that it is the drivers responsibility to make sure everyone is buckled up...

if i were a driver test guy...i would not buckle up just to see if the kid noticed...then the second he starts to drive...id be like..."you did not just move this car with an unbuckled passenger did you?! that is an automatic failure!"

of course i wouldnt really fail him...but it would be really funny to see him nervous like that

swits; is your ZJ forest green? if so, we should totally make out.

fortunately the driving test in PA is used to, well, a lot of big honkin trucks, so the pylons had white reflector poles inserted into the center. otherwise i probably would have been in the same situation as you.

in driver's ed, the other guy and i would whip geo metros through the cones (the girls got the escort and civic since they had power steering) at 15 mph, and would get yelled at since the course limit was 10. i actually took DE after i got my license, so by that point i already had my J-turns down. unfortunately, instructors don't appreciate the sound of squealing rubber . . . maybe it brings back too many bad memories
