I really don't see how they would fit does anyone know? http://ksportusa.com/b2c/proddetail.php?prod=CBM020-KP | | | 08-28-2014, 02:06 AM | #3 | Member Join Date: Apr 2014 Location: California Posts: 31 | Thanks man I'll check it out Last edited by Aaron_497; 08-28-2014 at 02:20 AM. | | | 08-28-2014, 02:21 AM | #4 | Member Join Date: Apr 2014 Location: California Posts: 31 | actually I was looking for something more along the performance side of suspension to kind of tune up my car so it handles just amazingly... do you know if any e36 coilovers fit the ti? | | | 08-28-2014, 06:38 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: norcal - 94590 Posts: 3,186 | Quote: Originally Posted by Aaron_497 actually I was looking for something more along the performance side of suspension to kind of tune up my car so it handles just amazingly... do you know if any e36 coilovers fit the ti? | When you say "Fit", the answer is yes, the standard e36 kits will bolt in. But that is not the true answer to your question... Coupes and Sedans have a much taller shock and different spring rates for the rear, and the fronts are generally configured for the heavier m5x motor in the front. That means that those kits are not setup proper for the ti... There are good coilover setups specifically for the ti out there, but they tend to be harder to come by, as the ti is less popular in the US. You may have better luck finding a set for a 4cyl Z3, which is much closer to a ti in weight and suspension configuration. __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion.
