I am trying to download a 1.5GB movie file of track footage.
The person who uploaded it did not chop it up.
I can only download about 177MB of it before it quits.
Is there a way to download the whole thing?
Or is there a way to download it in chunks?
I am on a Mac OS 10.4 and DSL hook-up.

Have you had any issues downloading other large files? It might be something that your ISP is doing.
EDIT - I was getting good speeds on vid #42. Downloaded a little over 200MB before I stopped the download. __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH!

Well, my buddy had the same problem with it, so I don't think it is my connection, but is is possible.
I have not had problems downloading any files before, but I don't think I have ever downloaded 1.5GB! __________________ ...

Your ISP shouldn't be interfering, but you never know... I DL large files all the time (from 350MB to 4G), but my ISP has a monthly bandwidth cap, so I have to keep an eye on my traffic.
Well there is a problem with the vids, seems to be some corruption. I dl'ed 2 of them and the actual file size is much closer to 300 MB, yet the file hosting page sees them as 1+gb... probably a file container issue, probably related to how the files were uploaded or converted from their original format.

I tried it again and it popped off at the exact same MB, so I bet I have the whole file and the 1.5GB number is simply wrong like you said James. __________________ ...

I think the original files are 1.5G or so, but there seems to be a problem with the way the files were uploaded. I can play one, but it is choppy (missing data) and hangs up the player about 1/2 way through.
