Default Rear wiper control signal

Hi all,
Does anyone know what voltage the control wires for the rear wiper are meant to have in both on and off states? Mine currently has 12V on both when off (in reference to ground) and one drops to ~11V when the switch is pushed, wish seems wrong to me (especially as the wiper doesn't work lol).
I've already checked the motor and that spins fine when directly given 12V.

Cheers
Chris

p.s. If anyone is having problems with the rear wiper before replacing the motor strip it down and check the mechanism as all the grease in mine had solidified and jammed it, but span freely when cleaned up.

Did you ever find out the control signals?

Im having problems with mine. Ive just fixed the motor so that it turns freely with a direct feed, but cant be operated when hooked upto the car. Fuses are fine also...
