Went to pull the injectors today (going off to be cleaned and flow matched) and it looks like I have to pull off the supercharger to get at a certain hose. Teh aluminum hose near the back of the fuel rail...not easy like a stock mani'. I looked in the knowledge base and all that's there is the E36 6 cylinder injector DIY. NO help really. Searched and found no DIY for injector removal w/dasc. Seems a lot of sh*t is covered up by the DASC. The new cam sensor was an adventure. My upcoming coolant system rebuild looks like it's gonna' be biach as well. I think the ICV is buried in there too...needs cleaning no doubt I hope it's easier than it looks. Having done most of what you are talking about with a stock m42, I would venture to guess that, yes, you would need to remove the DASC manifold. Thanks for the reply Mojaughn. From all my searching his name comes up alot...not lately though. If that's the case then I'll probably just take off the entire mani' and DASC as one unit. Intake bolts are pretty easy to get at...alot easier than the lower dasc bolts that's for sure. AND while I'm in there I might as well do the plastic coolant fittings/hoses + any sensors for preventitive maintainance. Anyone with 1st hand experience? I like to know exactly what I'm getting into before the tear down. Nothing worse than getting stuck and having the car sit waiting for parts. It seems they are all accessible - just make you sure you disconect the baterry (i.e. fuel pump) & bleed the system (overflow) before you start pulling the injectors.
