Hello everyone I hope I am in the right place to introduce myself. I live in Australia and have just purchased a 1998 BMW 318TI Contour Hatch. It is in immaculate condition with only 88000km on the clock. I bought it off an enthusiast who cried when I drove away with it. I am enjoying reading all the posts that you guys submit as I can learn so much from them. I am interested in the "mods" that can be fitted to the car

As I am new to this type of website I have to get my 16 year old daughter to show me how to post pictures etc. lol
I think maybe the first thing I might do is a CAI and modify the exhaust to suit. As the car is completely stock standard this could be a good place to start. What do you think?

Search the forum for "Fogged AIr" before buying a CAI.
There are also numerous threads on exhausts....

Welcome to the site. I know kilometers are less than miles so I'm guessing you got 50,000 miles or so on the odemeter.
