Default Changed the starter in my S52 ti

This evening I just finished swapping the starter in my ti.

It was getting intermittent, and I wanted to do it before I was stranded somewhere.

Got a (Bosch) starter, and went for it.

Ho Lee Chit.

That was like cataract surgery via the rectum.

The intake has to come off (unless you have a lift and can drop the driveline, which I don’t). Something like 12 hours to tear down, swap, and put back together.

What were the symptoms that prompted the replacement?
