Default Bumper Fog Light Covers

As some of you may know, I have the wrong front bumper on my car:

Obviously the fog lights are missing and those gaping holes really bother me. I want to order these fog light covers from bavauto but I'm not sure they will fit the bumper I have on my car now. Help me out. The bav-auto part numbers are: Part # : 51 11 8 122 449 and Part # : 51 11 8 122 450

According to realoem, they are both for stock bumpers.
There are different ones for different years and they are left/right.
Neither say M-Tech.

Edit: You don't have a BMW bumper, do you?
Who TF knows what will fit?

I don't recall ever seeing a slat over the brake duct.

I'm at a loss then. I guess I'll order them and if they don't fit I'll resell 'em. If anybody else has any ideas about what my bumper is, let me know.

They'll probably fit, or be real close.

I do wonder what changed that there are different blanks for the stock bumper depending pre or post 9/96.

No I think he means just the earlier regular trim. I think he's right.

I ordered them on sunday and they came yesterday (2 days) when I payed for the 5-7 day delivery. That just goes to show you, never pay 20 extra dollars for overnight delivery, it's just a rip off. Anyways, here are some pics of the covers in the bumper, I think it looks sweet:

It definitely looks better than with just the empty holes. Now you just need to "go all the way" and paint them blue. :-)

If your car is wired for fog lights and you have the knob on the dash, you can get a replacement set for about $50. However, given that there's still a bit of mystery about your bumper, it's uncertain that the replacements would mount easily. I'll dig up the URL for the place I got mine if you need it.

I love ground shipping in the NE, especially from BavAuto. Always comes the next day if I place the order in the morning. Your car looks good btw!

Roadrash, I actually have the fogs, one of the lenses is cracked but they should both work. The problem is the bracket is missing for the foglight on the passenger side. I don't really mind though, I can live without fogs until I order the M replacement bumper from DDM.

Also, I kinda like the way the covers look while black, I've seen it on other cars and I like it more then when I see them painted body color, like on my brothers car. Any other opinions on this? I'm curious.

Edit: I won't be painting anything until the spring anyways, when I order the bumper and hopefully a set of M mirrors as well. I'm really just glad the holes are gone. =)
