My (10 speaker) stereo sounds bad, and I read on a board somewhere that the amp, rather than the speakers or "head unit" is the problem. On some other board someone implied (long before I read it or I would have asked) that the BMW head unit outputs are "high voltage" and might let the magic smoke out of my new amplifier.
