The 318ti shares the same front end as the e36 sedan from the "A" pillars forward. This includes, but is not limited to, the fenders and hood. There was a change in sidemarkers in 09/96 and the fenders are different. You'll need the newer style if you want to use your old sidemarkers. I highly recommend that you familiarize yourself with www.realoem.com . You can plug in the last 7 digits of your vin which will allow you to find EVERY single part number for your vehicle. From there, you can do a part number cross reference by clicking the "search part number" button at the top of the page. Then all you have to do is click the "search vehicle by part #" link, paste the part number in the box and you'll see exactly which vehicles use compatable parts. For example: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/partxref....ur=&series=E36 | | | 05-06-2011, 02:58 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: PA Posts: 1,906 | LOL, Jess, you the man. I was just searching your post, copied it, and was going to paste it. But you beat me to it...haha here it is anyway Quote: Originally Posted by cooljess76 No worries man. The nose panel, front bumper, side skirts, fog lights and headlights are interchangeable with all e36's(except the Z3 of course). The sidemarker lights are also interchangeable between all e36's, however they changed styles a year after the nose panels changed. One should note that like the newer kidney grilles not fitting in the older nose panel or vice versa, the newer sidemarkers will not fit in the older fenders or vice versa. The BMW roundels are the same for all e36's except the convertible which uses a smaller roundel on the rear. Almost everything else is ti specific. | __________________ | | | 05-07-2011, 07:05 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: Jax, FL Posts: 541 | I have a M3/4/5 Alpine White nose in storage (hood, fenders, rad support, 4 doors, etc..). Let me know if you need any parts. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
