I left St Petersburg for SFCA and went the first 1k miles in 23 hours with a six hour stopoverto rest in N'Orleans... Now in Beaumont TX... One speeding ticket by the expectedly overweight, neck o' the red, TX state trooper for a leisurely 81 [not 105 as I was cruzin' minutes before] in a 70 zone... Pig, oops, revenue agent, er, I mean "peace officer" says local payment of ticket is not to appear on record if paid before court date... Can anyone verify?
