Then you need to race a NA Metric Mechanic ti | | | 02-22-2009, 03:22 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: NJ Posts: 1,625 | 1500 is not too much for a motor with '7 laps' on it - but I would get the guy to provide MUCH more detail on it... the fact that its labeled a 'like new race motor' means nothing - you need to know what internals he has - what cams - what engine management was used with it, so forth & so on... last thing you want is to put in your car & realize it sucks as a street motor - cause it has way radical caming & cause they used some stand alone management system which you dont have. So it could be the real deal, you would need to work out tuning.
