I only use a Mann Filter,have never used anything else.

i have a question? i couldnt change my oil filter last time i changed my oil because i couldnt get the cap off, but now i have the right sized wrench. so could i take it off with the oil still being full or do i have to wait until i drain the oil again?

you can take it off with the oil full. the filter is on top and the oil will all drain into the pan when you turn it off.

If i were you i'd change my oil again if your putting that new filter in.

I wouldn't go that far. Change the filter now, and then change it again in a few hundred miles. Note that the filter is going to take some oil with it, so you'll have to check the level.

yeah i figured if i changed it now it wouldnt be that bad since i changed my oil like not even a week ago. thanks for the info. and let me tell you it was hard to find my oil filter. i went to every place and only one place had it and it wasnt really the brand i was looking for either. its a wix.

Napa should have it. Every Napa that I've been to has had them. I buy them by the case now.

Yeah man, I went to NAPA today, and I got a NAPA brand filter??? I didnt know there was such a thing. Should I take it back and ask for the MANN?
