Default Hurricanes

So I just thought I would vent my frustrations here. Hurricane winds, torrential rain and thunderstorms just kicking us around here. Hope you guys don't get the worst when it hits the north cold front.....

Heads up.....

Yikes! That's the only weather that scares me about Florida. I'm moving there anyway...no wind and rain can drive me away!

I am telling you to get ready, you guys are in a different type of alert. Cold front, Snow, and Rain with 100Mph winds don't mix too well. They warned that northern states would suffer long blackouts and snow, they call it the Frankenstorm... Not sure If I thinks its funny or true.

The problem is the size of the storm.......

Up here we're calling it the Snor'eastercane but it doesn't seem like anybody is really taking it as seriously as you would think. As for me I live in a building thats got a generator thats good for something like a week of full power which we apparently may need.

Well for what it's worth, I hope it passes with little damage. Here we don't get things like tornadoes or snow..

I can not describe the experience of the weather we had today. If there has ever been a clearer more blue sky in my life it was today. This shows that the storm has absorbed the force and winds like a giant tornado.

Things don't look good at all for the north. It appears to have weakened for a minute but don't let that fool you, these things don't have any consistency and can surprise you when you least expect it.

For us, this is not unusual or dramatic, but for large east coast cities like NJ, NY and DC, they are not prepared or designed to sustain damage for these winds. Homes here have to stand up to 125mhp winds and made of solid concrete walls, not wood like upstate.

Good luck guys, get your batteries, chargers and supplies, specially if you are prone to snow.

Cheers,

I'll be in touch with everyone in Southern Florida when we arrive. It's hard for me to spend long periods of time away from other 318ti owners. Just remember one thing...I don't drink (party) and I must stay away from potential trouble at all costs. Those are my requirements to associate with people.
Right on!
