Default Thanks to this forum

I've gotten two major bugs worked out on my car; the heat barely worked, and there was an oil leak that was much worse than I had thought....

The first issue turned out to be the broken clip on the heater box; in fact, it was completely broken off. I remedied this by putting a small hose clamp on the cable, and using a bit of the clamp tail with a hole drilled in it to fasten to the box. Worked very well.

Second, this past weekend I did the oil canister mount gasket and bushing. Figured I'd start here and see what happens.

Very straightforward job with the tutorial available here...thanks. (Took about two hours) When I got to work this morning I put a piece of cardboard under the engine and found 2 small drips..tonight back home did the same..after a 40 mile ride, not a single drip!!! (mechanic said it looked like front main seal..not!)

Now, I gotta pull the radio to get the serial# for the code.

Thanks to all who've provided this information for the rest of us...
