And if not, make sure to power up the power antena/remote (if you bought a wiring kit for the car) as this will power up the stock amp as well. | | | 06-10-2011, 10:17 PM | #5 | Junior Member Join Date: Jun 2011 Location: massachusetts Posts: 11 | I did some more fiddling, now it does not get power, I changed the fuse and it was fine, then i tried to get sound from the speakers again but now there is no power to the head unit. | | | 06-11-2011, 03:30 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2010 Location: Wichita Falls, Texas Posts: 1,364 | First thing I would do now is circuit test your power wire to see if it's hot. If if it is your head unit may be toast. Also, make sure that the head unit is grounded. | | | 06-11-2011, 10:28 PM | #7 | Junior Member Join Date: Jun 2011 Location: massachusetts Posts: 11 | ^ thanks for the tips it was the ground, got it hooked up and working now! | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
