my grilles have always been loose. i assumed that since i had a ddm tuning m3 bumper installed (due to accident), that the nose piece was also aftermarket and that is why they fit poorly. what i learned today is that i must have an <=96 nose piece when my car (and grilles are 96+) meaning they don't exactly fit. they don't seem to fall out, but they also move around a little bit in there and seem to be a bit off. anyone have a spare set of the early style OEM ones laying around? i see online they are not outrageously expensive, but still if someone has extra, happy to save a few bucks.

I have a pair of early grills. You hooked me up with a nice OEM stereo when a jerk ripped me off. Let me find them (in a box somewhere) and I'll send them to you gratis. PM me your mailing address.

i sent you something i didn't need and wasn't using - i wasn't interested in milking it for max $ - just happy to see someone use it. Hope it still is working (hard to know with 15yr old stuff). if you have them i'd gladly pay a reasonable $ for them and hope that i can get my set to someone else who needs them. i'll PM you my address, pass it forward.......that's what i feel these forums are for. i am always dissappointed when i see people on this forum (and others) where people are looking to make top dollar (or worse overpriced) for stuff. if you want top dollar go to ebay. if you want quick/local buyer beware go to craigslist. this should be a community where we can share resources - knowledge, parts, etc....
