Also will someone verify my parts list and tell me if everything is correct, and if i may be missing something... 325 front calipers with carriers (any year e36 325) front rotors (vented 325) pads (325) new sensor wire, and possibly rebuild kits for the calipers thanks in advance -ian | | | 11-21-2005, 05:18 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2004 Location: Florida Posts: 1,595 | The list is right, but I think you might need atleast a 16in. wheel. | | | 11-21-2005, 05:24 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Calipers will fit behind 15" steel wheels too. The pads are the same as 318. Sensor is reusable from your old one. BTW- 325 and 328 brake setups are the same. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 11-21-2005, 06:43 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: Portland, Oregon Posts: 484 | Quote: Originally Posted by 1996 328ti Calipers will fit behind 15" steel wheels too. Even with this setup, when you are running a 6cyl under the hood, the brake wears so fast. __________________ S50 Swap, Euro 3.5" HFM (MAF), my custom Chip, Cosmo CAI, Custom Exhaust, 6 Cyl. So 15" wheels will fit. The E46 325i is a different story. That bumps up to a 300mm rotor and will require 16" wheels or larger. | | | 11-21-2005, 05:45 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Saint Louis, MO Posts: 143 | thank you! -Ian | | | 11-24-2005, 01:29 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: Portland, Oregon Posts: 484 | Quote: Originally Posted by CirrusSR22 The E36 325i rotors and the E36 318ti rotors (unvented & vented) are all 286mm diameter. Works fine under 15 inchers (on which my winter tires reside). __________________ BostonGreen 97' w/ DASC & Technique Stage 1 software M3 front bumper. BavAuto Springs. Bilstein Sport Shocks. Xbrace.
