Default "Oh $hit or No $hit" handles?

I redid my headliner and was wondering... do I really need the handles...

I think it came out awesome. It's really a simple job, ya just need patience. I did not cut out for the handles and I think I'ma leave em off, looks cleaner to me.

I've got all the tips... second one I've done.
Material is foam backed from pelican and worked great.
1. Vac and clean out car before starting, helped.
2. pillar tabs will break. Top is most important to hold in place.
3. Label and tape screws for visors.
4. Permatex heavy- duty spray is the bomb. Orange can blue top at napa. Set up outside in the shade on the wheel barrow. Spray even cross hatch with 5 mins between to dry. I did not spray the back of the material. I believe it would saturate and show. I used 2 cans ... plenty left. Remember top of pillars are rolled over and glued. Not trimmed to edge like along windshield. .. lucky I had spare material for that blunder. Again, not by plan but I did not cut open handle holes...
I gave the final spray 15 to really set up before having the gf help me lay the new over. I started aft to bow, easier to get the feel before working around the visor nooks.
So also... plan on your rear cards to be pretty much floating, held in by a couple clips and the seals. So If your precise, plan on removing the rear bench and side back pad to redo these like the door cards. What a pain in Tha ass... never ends.....

Looks great. I have never used the handle in my car and need to redo the liner real soon. Thanks for the great idea, it looks way cleaner on the install without those handles
