There is no need for that sub-frame. You will be just wasting your money. We compete in the lemons series and Chump series with our 318isA that was converted to a m50 car after blowing up the automatic.
Make the car reliable aka cooling system, Fuel system and braking, as well as the engine. You would be surprised how well you do with a momentum based car in an endurance race. We finished in 35 in our first race on a 700 budget and did nothing to the car besides brakes and tires. We sheared the transmission mounts and the Engine mounts and our tard driver drove it back to the pits and after an hour we were back on the track.
It's an endurance race not a speed event. You will be put most likely in class B to start unless you have braces and fancy shocks. I'd suggest you stay away from exotics at first then build as your exemptions come in as you break stuff.
The stuff you are talking about is going to put you right into class A and you will not be competitive plus it's expensive. We are still running stock rotors minus we are running great pads. stock rotors are CHEAP and pads are the way to go. We use a set of rotors each race and pads last us about 3 races. We could upgrade to e36 M3 stuff but it's not worth the hassle and it cost more money in consumables.
This is our buddies team a few years back, they are very fast and hold three track records with this set up. Their budget is far beyond ours.
